SVG files and FABRIC to create Chair Huggers and Kitchen Decor

Alma got an early sweet treat before Halloween. It was the new Cricut Maker. Who knew what fun home decor items you could make with cutting files and fabric.

Alma happily reported that despite her doubts as to how well the Cricut Maker would do with fabric, she was amazed to see how accurate and well it was able to cut all her material.

I love to sew, it's what I do to totally unwind and go to my "happy place." Have you tried using our cutting files to make fabric projects yet? This idea is definitely on my to-do list.

3 Gifts of Tea and the Japanese Flower Girls SVGs - Part 1

We're heading into fall and cooler weather so it's the perfect time to enjoy a cup of tea and share a cup with a friend. Alma from our design team is creating cheerful tea bag dispensers using the 3 princesses from the Japanese Flower Girls collection and the Dispenser Box.

The 3 princesses from this collection were given special names.. Let me introduce you...

The first is Miki. Her name means "beautiful princess".

This is Hana. Her name means "favorite flower". The branch of cherry blossoms is included with collection and looks beautiful on the front of each dispenser.

And the third flower girl is called Sakura. Her name means "cherry blossom".

When Alma shared her tea dispensers with us we were really tickled and recalled some projects our friend April did for us several years ago. We are going to make this a 3 part series and share those with you as well.

These little Japanese Flower Girls are such the perfect characters to add to any tea related project.

Alma used the svg cutting files from the following sets:

Onesie centerpiece!

Hello Crafty friends! DT-Alma here, I wanted to share with you guys today these centerpieces for a Baby Shower!

I have a friend who's having twins, a boy and a girl, and I wanted to help her with the decor for the tables so I came up with these cute little boxes.. that i made them into centerpieces!

These boxes are from the Onesie Gift box set for Boy and girl, I made the regular boxes which btw are very easy to put together, I sealed the box for this purpose, then I hot glued a stick into the box, being careful not to damage the structure of the box, added to a base, finishing touches and.. their done! pretty easy ha!?

I hope you guys like them, and are inspired to make your own!

Birthday Celebration!

Hello Everyone! I'm Alma and this is my first post here at the blog! yayy... so, my daughter's B-Day is coming up and for that reason i wanted to make something to surprise her in her room, so i came up with this banner, fun and bold just like her.

I decided to combine two files in one and so can you, the banner is the Party pennants with scallop edge on both sides

For the center part I used the Happy Birthday title

I also wanted to make her a fun card, and i found this one under the birthday tab, it's part of a trio of a treat box, easel card and a tag the file name is Party Owls

I really like this file because it comes with all the numbers so we can personalized the age on the card in my case i need it a 16.

Here you have the images of the files in the store so you can find them easily
