7 Christmas Papercraft Projects from DT Shirley

During our Christmas in July I wanted to share all these wonderful projects from Christmas's Past that were done by our Design Team member Shirley @ Scrappy Sam Designs.

Ice Skating Bears

What I always love about Shirley's projects is the imagination that goes into her designs. The patterns seem to be the jumping off point for her and then her imagination kicks in like in her Ice Skating Bears. This wintery skate uses the 3D Skate and Skating Bears.

Winter Wishes Christmas Card

I designed my cards in Design Space. I grouped all the pieces of each card together and sized the card so the card base measured 11.5 inches. The finished cards range from 5.25 to 5.5 inches tall.

MATERIALS
Printed cardstock: Old World Winter Stack by the Paper Studio
Plain Cardstock by Coredinations
Glossy cardstock in white, red, green and black (source unknown)
Cream & gold pearlescent cardstock by COLORBOK (for candle)
Christmas trims
Various gems (Jots)
Coordinating inks
Foam squares
Glue

All the pieces were inked with coordinating inks. The cards were put together with glue and/or foam squares to make the titles pop. Gems and Christmas trims were added as accents.

I love these cards; they are so easy to make and turn out so beautiful!

Give them a try!

Christmas Star Gift Box.

"It's such a fun little box that goes together so quick and easy!
It comes with several Sentiment options. I used "Remember the Star"...which is perfect for Christmas!"

Large Gift Bag Designs for Christmas in July by Cyndy G.

Hello crafty friends today I am sharing some new Christmas bags.  I like to make special bags for my gifts.  It really adds a personal touch.  I have three different size bags to show you today.
6.25" wide  x 8" tall x 2" deep

  Large Gift Bag
 10" wide  x 9.25" tall x 3.75" deep
I made this bag using some of my favorite Christmas papers but the fun thing with this large bag design is you can use it for any occasion just by switching up the papers. Use themed papers for birthdays, graduation, Mothers Day, etc. You may even want to coordinate your bag with a handmade card using the same papers.

A large gift bag edged in delicate snowflakes.
8" tall x 11" wide x 4" deep
You're sure to find a bag to fit your gift.  Have fun choosing from all your favorite papers to make just the right gift bag.

3 Fun Christmas Cards from Cyndy G.

Hello again crafty friends.  This week is Christmas in July with My Scrap Chick.  I'm glad to see you back today!

I have new Christmas cards to share with you today.  All these projects are inspired by Father Christmas and feature traditional Christmas designs.

The Fireplace Slider Card is a penny slider card and Santa comes down the chimney. Santa's legs and boots slide up and down for a fun interactive card. The young and young at heart will love playing with this. Written instructions have been included in the pdf download.

Next is a Santa Box Card.
This box card has 4 layers to create the traditional 3D scene of Santa checking his list. It folds flat for mailing so you can send it to anyone on "your" list.

And finally I have this jolly Santa Shape Card. You will love how simply this fun card goes together with Santa wearing his "spectacles" and colorful hat.
These are all cute cards to celebrate Christmas.  I hope to see you again tomorrow.

There is a video tutorial included on the product page.

I wish I could stay decorated for Christmas all year, it truly is my favorite time of year.  Hope you see you tomorrow.
Do what inspires you,

The Nutcracker Set becomes Shape Cards
Sue turned the paper pieced characters from the Nutcracker Set in to these beautiful shape cards for her family. She shares all the "how-to's" in her blog post @ Sue Stamping Stuff.

I loved the Nutcracker card so created a new one that is already to go with all you need to make the new Nutcracker Shape Card below.

 3D Poinsettia Christmas Ornaments
Shirley @ Scrappy Sam Designs used 3 different files to create these gorgeous Christmas ornaments. I think they would look lovely too strung along as garland on the fireplace mantel.

Marlene aka Scrappin Cookie from the DT is the brain child behind our Bath Bomb Gift Box design. These have been a fun design to create and you can expect to see a few more for other holidays.

This beautiful sleigh and all it's beautifully decorative touches was done by Els @ The Art of Els Schutte
