Birdhouse Gift Box Tutorial

Create a photo album using the Explosion Box pattern or use the solid sides box pattern to create a stunning gift box 





Cut out box pattern and lay out your pieces grouped together.  

 

 

Working with the bottom piece, fold along all score lines. For this piece, put together one side at a time. Place glue on the tabs and bring up side fold. Hold until glue is dry. Repeat on the other side of box.

 

 



With the bottom piece finished, gather the three roof pieces. Fold along score lines and bend tabs down on roof top if you haven’t done so already.  Take one side piece and glue to the four tabs on roof piece. Repeat on other side.

Both pieces when completed form the birdhouse.

With your birdhouse frame done, move on to the decorative pieces. Take the three roof shingle pieces and fold at score line. Glue all three together starting with the biggest piece on bottom and ending with smallest scalloped cut on top. Glue these pieces to the roof.



To finish the box, glue the birdhouse to the box base and add the grass along the bottom of box. Add the scallop circle to the front, put the top of the birdhouse on and the box is complete.
