The Garden Bug Boxes and Cards comes with 5 bugs: Potato Bug, Bumble Bee, Ladybug, Cootie and Lightening Bug. These are fun designs for childrens parties, BBQs and to tuck into garden gift baskets.

Cut out box pattern and lay out your pieces grouped together. (Decorative front piece was constructed before it was attached to the box for this tutorial)

Start with the bottom outside piece (larger of the two bottom cuts) of the box taking the two pieces that make up the bottom. Take the side piece and fold on the scored lines. Glue first tab down starting at back of bottom paver piece.

Finish bottom of box by gluing all tab down.

Finish off bottom piece by gluing inside bottom piece into box.

*NOTE: Most of our boxes come with liners to add a finished look to the inside. It also adds the benefit of extra durability.

(This step is optional at this point in the construction. It can be done at the end when box is completed) the decorative piece was attached to the outside lid cut to help keep orientation when putting together the lid. Since this piece is flat it will not interfere with the building of the lid.

Flip this piece over and start gluing your last side piece starting at the back of the paver.

Your paver box is now completed if you followed the steps above.

If you chose to skip step 5 and leave out the front decorative piece to the end, now is the time to put it together and attach to the top of the box. For this tutorial it was done first.
